Parent involvement in school activities energizes and nourishes the school in many ways. Becoming involved in the COFS Parent Association enriches the experience not only for your child but also for your family and the school community as a whole.

Coming together as a parent body, our purpose as the COFS Parent Association is to be a source of L.I.G.H.T. to City of Fountains School:
Learning the needs of faculty and families & lightening the load
Inviting connection and friendship with a spirit of welcoming
Gathering time, talent, and treasures with energizing service
Honoring and sharing the creative vision of our school

How do parents help?
There are numerous ways you can get involved as a COFS family, including:
Commit to donating a food item to one or more day of teacher in-service
Commit to planning a “Why Cook? Wednesday” fundraiser
Help organize Teacher Appreciation Week
Sign up to be a New Family Mentor
Volunteer to set up/tear down special events
Tidy or improve our school playground, classrooms, and Cave Springs with pop-up service opportunities
Connect with other COFS families
Stay involved and communicate with other school families by joining the COFS Waldorf Families Facebook Page.
Give a monetary gift to the COFS Parent Association.
If you’d prefer to support the Parent Association with a monetary gift, you can make a donation through Venmo (@COFSchool). Be sure to note ‘Parent Association’ in the memo.
