Parent & Child
Young children, from birth through age 3, are welcomed with their parent, grandparent, guardian or nanny to experience the cornerstones of Waldorf education in the early childhood program. Each session consists of a gentle daily rhythm including free play, snack preparation, circle time, family-style snack, clean up, and story time. Since 2020, our Parent/Child classes have come to permanently "reside” outdoors at a local forested-park during the warmer months.
As a group, we celebrate with seasonal fingerplays, poems and songs. Handcrafts are taught to parents to mindfully work on during class. In this space of reverence, parents will have the opportunity to connect with one another and share their own experiences of family life.
